The Newfoundland and Labrador Oil & Gas Industries Association (Noia) is pleased to announce that this year’s oil & gas conference will feature an informative panel discussion focusing on Newfoundland and Labrador’s untapped resources.
The Noia Oil & Gas Conference is Canada’s flagship offshore oil & gas industry information event, attracting global oil & gas industry leaders as both speakers and delegates. Themed Offshore Newfoundland: Relevant, Untapped & Resilient, the 2017 conference will once again deliver the latest updates on exploration, production and development activities in Canada’s offshore oil & gas industry and offer over 1,000 delegates the opportunity to partake in discussions about timely industry issues and participate in unparalleled networking opportunities.
This year’s panel discussion will focus on our untapped resources – how can we maximize these near-term opportunities efficiently and effectively? What are the challenges? More importantly, what are the solutions? Framed by a presentation delivered by the C-NLOPB, the panel will delve deeper into these questions by discussing how marginal and small shallow water fields can be made economically competitive; evolving thinking on cost reduction, especially in supply chain and project management; implications for existing projects and asset life in the Jeanne d’Arc Basin; and the role of technology in shaping future prospects. Details of the session, taking place on Wednesday, June 21, are below:
