Global Anadarko Account Manager, Wood
Erin Balch is responsible for a multi-disciplinary group that provides subsea engineering, subsea equipment delivery management and operations support for an operator with 10 active facilities in the Gulf of Mexico.
Erin has over 19 years of experience in offshore drilling and production, holding a mix of technical and management positions. She spent 14 years in the Wood riser team where she ultimately led the riser projects team before moving into her current program management role. She has extensive knowledge of floating production and fixed production riser systems, most notably in flexible pipe technology where she gained vast amounts of experience in the design, qualification and manufacturing of dynamic flexible pipe for high pressure applications.
Erin has a Bachelor of Science degree in ocean engineering from Texas A&M University, is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas, is a member of the Subsea Tie-back Forum Advisory Board and has co-authored numerous industry publications.
