Senior Project Manager, Hebron Project and Vice President, ExxonMobil Canada Ltd.
Geoff Parker graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Engineering Science. He worked as a consulting engineer before joining Esso Australia in 1988, and went on to lead the design of Australia’s first two concrete gravity-based structures for oil production platforms.
In 1997, Parker was assigned to the deepwater technology section of Exxon Production Research Company in Houston. In 2000, he joined ExxonMobil Development Company to support the company’s global portfolio of upstream capital projects, and later as project manager for projects, including an FPSO for deepwater Nigeria; the GBS for the world’s first offshore terminal for storing and regasifying LNG; and a GBS for offshore Sakhalin Island in Russia.
In May 2011, Parker was appointed senior project manager of the Hebron Project and vice president of ExxonMobil Canada Ltd., based in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.
