An electrical engineering and biochemistry graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland, Steve Taylor is an active member in the oil & gas and technology communities. He is passionate about contributing to the future of the energy sector through the creation of transformative technologies and via ecosystem engagement in his Board of Directors role at NATI and as co-chair of the Digital Transformation Working Group (DTWG).
Steve’s commitment to technology innovation is demonstrated in his past and current engagement in a number of industry associations. He was an original member of the Microsoft RFID Partner Advisory Council (PAC), sat on the Standards Council of Canada’s Board for AIDC Standards and is a former VP business development for the Aerospace and Defence Industry Association of Newfoundland and Labrador (ADIANL). He also provides mentorship, advice and guidance to numerous technology start-ups in Newfoundland.
