Special Adviser, Research Council of Norway
Tarjei Nødtvedt Malme is special adviser in the Research Council of Norway and program coordinator for the PETROMAKS 2 program. This large-scale programme for petroleum research has the overall responsibility for research to promote responsible, optimal management of Norway’s petroleum resources, as well as future-oriented industrial development in the petroleum sector. Tarjei is also chair of the ONS Innovation Award jury 2020.
Tarjei has a Master of Science in applied geophysics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and the University of Texas, Austin. He has previously worked for Schlumberger Oilfield Services in the United States, Canada and Chad.
Tarjei Malme will speak from the Pennecon Stage on June 18.
